My favourite books to work on are romance, young adult and cozy mystery novels, but I also work with other genres.So, how does it work?Once you get in touch I'll send you a Google form to gather some more information about your project. Here you'll also get the chance to request a free sample edit. Once we've decided if I'm a good fit, I will send you a contract with the scope of work and payment details. Then I will begin your project on the agreed start date.

Editing Services
Developmental Edit

A developmental edit is the first step in the editing process, conducted before line and copy edits. It focuses on big-picture elements such as setting, plot structure, character development, inconsistencies and pacing. This service includes an in-depth editorial letter along with in-line comments throughout your manuscript. I will point out what is working well alongside areas that need improvement, offering actionable feedback to help you elevate your novel.

Manuscript assessment

A manuscript assessment is a lite, more affordable alternative to the developmental edit. It includes a multi-page editorial letter providing generalised feedback on your manuscript. In this assessment, I will address elements such as plot, setting and character development, pointing out the strengths and weaknesses of your draft. Unlike the developmental edit, the manuscript assessment doesn't include in-line comments.
Line edit

A line edit is completed after developmental edits and before copyediting and proofreading. It focuses on improving sentence structure, flow, and readability by addressing issues such as passive voice, filter words, and unclear language or metaphors. In this service, I will make sentence-level revisions to your novel using Track Changes, helping your prose shine while preserving your unique author voice.

This is for authors whose social media efforts aren’t delivering the results they want and who need clear, actionable guidance. In this service you'll receive an in-depth report analyzing your current profiles and posts, along with a detailed game plan to help improve engagement and increase book sales.
Social Media Management
This service is for authors who want to delegate their social media and focus on writing. As your social media manager, I’ll handle your TikTok and/or Instagram accounts, posting regular, engaging content to grow your audience and drive interest in your book. To help inform content, I’ll read your published book and pick out key hooks that will entice readers, creating excitement around your novel.
